Beginning Drama: Edgar Allan...WHOA!

Fall Semester | Sep. 5 - Nov. 7

Saturdays | 11:30 - 12:15pm

Grades 4th-6th

If you would like to register for the 10:00-10:45am section of this course, click here.

Spooky writer Edgar Allan Poe is generally considered the master of suspense, plus inventor of the detective stories and is credited with contributing to the creation of science fiction. In this class, the actors will adapt and dramatize Poe's short stories to explore different methods of storytelling.  Join us...before this class is offered "Nevermore!"

While Poe is the theme of our class, it is not the entire class. Students will still be working on basic fundamentals of the stage and acting including: stage presence, script reading, improv, movement etc. This course takes a games approach to the theatre.

Instructor: Reuben Albaugh
