Beginning Drama: Morning Mysteries

Spring Semester | February 24 - May 4

Saturdays | 10:00 - 10:55am

Grades 4th - 5th

The game’s afoot!  Each week, students will unlock a new mystery as well as the mysteries of acting, using their instruments (voices, brains and bodies) in scenes, theatre games and pantomimes.  Our super sleuths will discover the clues to expanded expression and performance skills through the development, rehearsal and performance process, while providing constructive peer feedback and self-critique.  Take one semester or both, featuring all new puzzles, lessons and scenes.  This class is anything but elementary, my dear Watson!

While Morning Mysteries is the theme of our class, it is not the entire class. Students will still be working on basic fundamentals of the stage and acting including stage presence, improv, movement, public speaking, etc. This course takes a games approach to the theatre.

Instructor: Audrey Watson
