About

Beginning Drama: The Phantom Tollbooth

Spring Semester | Mar. 5 - May 14

(Off Spring Break: April 2nd)

Saturdays | 10:00 - 11:00am

Grades 4th-5th

In this class, actors will focus on the fundamentals of acting, playing to the audience, projection, and diction while exploring the magical world of Norton Juster's The Phantom Tollbooth. Mr. Reuben and his students will be full speed ahead down the road to creativity!

While The Phantom Tollbooth is the theme of our class, it is not the entire class. Students will still be working on basic fundamentals of the stage and acting including stage presence, improv, movement, public speaking, etc. This course takes a games approach to the theatre.

Instructor: Reuben Albaugh
