About
Movement for the Stage: From Page to Stage!
Spring Semester | February 24 - May 4
Saturdays | 12:00 - 12:55pm
Grades 2nd - 5th
Some of the greatest musicals are based on books. This class will literally LEAP from page to stage using dance numbers from such literature-based musicals as Oliver!, Annie, Matilda, Mary Poppins, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and many more! Whether you’re an experienced dancer or a nervous mover, this class is designed to help young performers get comfortable in their own bodies, learn to control their movement and find their footing.
Note: Students may take one, but are strongly encouraged to take both semesters. This class is a great stepping stone toward our Pre-Musical Theatre & Musical Theatre classes.
Instructor: Heather Closson
