About

Movement for the Stage: Magic to Do!

Fall Semester | September 7 - November 9

Saturdays | 12:00 - 12:55pm

Grades 2nd - 5th

Peter Pan, Harry Potter, Wicked, Into the Woods, Aladdin and more!  Using movement and music from musicals, plays, and films about magic, students will explore technique, character and more through theatrical movement.  Whether you’re an experienced dancer or a nervous mover, this class is designed to help young performers get comfortable in their own bodies, learn to control their movement, and find their footing.

Note: Students are strongly encouraged to take both semesters, each featuring all new material.  This class is a great stepping stone toward our Musical Theatre classes.  Pair it with Voice for the Stage and receive  a 10% Discount!

Instructor: Heather Closson

*Registration Note: Please make sure you type in your email address correctly. If you do not receive a confirmation email for your class registration after 2 hours, please contact us at admin@fortwayneyoutheatre.org so we can update your email. This will be our main source of communication.
