About

Pre-Creative Drama: Illuminating the Stage and You!

Fall Semester | September 7 - November 9

Saturdays | 10:00 - 10:55am

Grades K - 1st

From those mischievous “Minions” to the exciting "Secret Life of Pets" and the aspiring stars of "Sing,” step into a world inspired by the enchanting characters of Illumination Studios!  Students will explore the magic of theatre through these familiar stories, learning basic stage skills, theatrical movement and characterization.  Take one semester or both, featuring all new games, lessons, and scenes.

While Illuminating the Stage and You!  is the theme of our class, it is not the entire class. Students will still be working on basic fundamentals of the stage and acting including stage presence, improv, movement, public speaking, etc. This course takes a games approach to the theatre.

Instructor: Kimee Gearhart
