Tech Theatre: Stage & Character Makeup

Grades 6th - 12th

$65 for 5 wk course +$20 Tech Fee

Stage makeup can turn any actor into a character!  It can age us, transform the shape of our faces and turn us into everything from A(nimals) to Z(ombies). Join in the fun as freelance makeup artist Gabrielle McAfee teaches things like highlight and shadow, age lines, bruises and scrapes, sculpting wax and liquid latex. All levels of experience welcome! Students will apply makeup to themselves and classmates. (Anyone with make-up or latex allergies should note that when enrolling.)

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By volunteering, attending, and/or entering the Arts United Center or any building or space where you are volunteering for or participating in with the Fort Wayne Youtheatre, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 for you or your child.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

Class/Camp Cancellations must be completed 1 week prior to the first day of Class/Camp. Full refunds will be given to those who cancel within that 1-week period via their original form of payment. If canceling within the week of class/camp, a 15% deduction will be processed for each late cancellation day (Ex. Class starts on Saturday, but you cancel the Sunday before, a 15% deduction will be applied, if canceling on Monday a 30% deduction will be processed from your refund, etc.). Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to be issued.

We reserve the right to cancel any Class/Camp at any time, and if we do so will issue a refund via the original form of payment.
