Accepted: Register only Sammy Smith (one student) for Voice for the Stage AND Movement for the Stage.

Class Description: From auditions to performance, this course puts our students in the driver’s seat of creating an original piece, while exploring the challenges of devised theatre, script-writing, character creation, and more resulting in an invited reading or maybe even future production. A complete theatre experience, from A to Z.  

Musical Theatre: POP Goes the Musical

Grades: 6-8

Time: 11:30am - 12:25pm

Teaching Artist: Alyssa Plisco & Heather Closson

Class Description: Get ready to sing, dance and act your hearts out to the beat of Broadway’s biggest pop-infused musicals.  This class builds confidence, stage presence and technique- all while rocking out to musicals like Six, & Juliet, Mamma Mia, and more!

Junior Drama: Acting with AI

Grades: 6-8 Time: 12:30pm - 1:25pm

Teaching Artist: Christopher J. Murphy

Class Description: This class blends traditional acting techniques with cutting-edge AI-generated material.  Students will explore dynamic, original scripts and bring them to life through voice, movement, and character work.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: If a refund is requested, Fort Wayne Youtheatre has a non-refundable charge of $25. No refund will be processed if you cancel less than 1 week in advance. Fort Wayne Youtheatre reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient registration. In the event of such a cancellation, all of your fees will be refunded.
