Junior Drama: The Exploration of Scene Work, Part 2

Spring Semester | Mar. 5 - May 14

(Off Spring Break: April 2nd)

Saturdays | 2:00 - 3:0pm

Grades 6th-8th

What do we do when our director gives us a scene we’ve never read or a direction we don’t understand?  We’re about to find out!  We’ll start each day with a bit of voice and movement to help free our tension and follow our truest impulses, practicing the art of listening and responding in everything from cold reads to fully-rehearsed scene work.

While The Exploration of Scene Work is the theme of our class, it is not the entire class. Students will still be working on intermediate fundamentals of the stage and acting including stage presence, improv, movement, public speaking, etc.
